This first picture is what started Window Bonnets.  My best friend looked at this picture and said, “You need to sell these, they look great and way better than wood cornices! WOW!” A month later we were in business.  Our no sew cornice kits can make an amazing transformation in any and all the rooms of your home.

Several before and after pictures are included in this gallery along with a some close-ups of the design.  The fabrics range from upholstery (like mine) to the economy stuff ($1.99/yd--again mine) to drapery fabrics, taffeta and cotton. Some of the more unique window treatments make use of gathers at the top and bottom, bold strips both horizontal and vertical and a unique tassel attachment.

Small windows as well as wide windows benefit from our no sew cornice kits. The basic kit will make a cornice for a 48” window opening, but if yours is narrower, then the left over can be used on one of your wider windows.  Should you find yourself with a full piece left over and you have finished all your cornices, I will happily purchase it back from you.

Like with all the other rooms the addition of accessories can add to your design. Tony & Alexis took it a step farther (last picture in this group). She actually made the triangle piece, sewed a tassel to the point and used the back tuck groove to attach the triangle— a truly unique valance idea.

Should you later change the floors, paint the walls, or get new furniture, you will never lose your original investment.  The Window Bonnets no sew cornice boards can simply be popped off the brackets, the fabric removed and new fabric and accessories tucked into the grooves.  WhaLa! You have a new cornice for just pennies. And should you sell your home the new owners can easily redecorate to their colors and style.
