The first guest room has blinds and sheers over the windows.  Nancy wanted to keep the sheers since it added some needed color to the wall.  For the sheers and the cornice to look right, we removed the decorative ends and made the cornice the full width of the rod.

The fabric in the top and bottom is a shiny crinkled fabric that kind of gives the look of gathers without all the work. The stripped center fabric is actually a “Sunbrella” indoor/outdoor fabric.  The stiff quality of this fabric is great on the cornice form.

The combination of chocolate, aqua and the multi-color strips is very striking!
