A Southwest theme is not for everyone, but here in Lake Havasu City, it is relatively popular. Arizona is home to several Indian tribes, Hopi and Navajo, to name two, so real Indian artwork is more easily available to accent the walls, tabletops and pot shelves.
Don & Nancy decided to decorate the office in a different theme. The pattern and the colors for the cornice fabric are truly southwest styled. Because of the direction of the pattern, the cornice fabric had to be “patched” to run the full length of the two windows. As a result, I decided to add the famed Kokopelli, to hide the fabric join for each window cornice.
Don and Nancy were unfamiliar with Kokopelli so I am including a little descriptive piece here.
