Meet Don and Nancy from Alaska.  They are part-time residents of Lake Havasu City, AZ from August thru October.  Not that long ago they both worked at their successful business in Ankorage. They were the only company qualified to train welders and certify the safety and correctness of welding operations in Alaska.

But now they relax, enjoy the fruits of their labor and follow the best weather for the year from Ankorage, to Lake Havasu City to Maui to Jacksonville, Florida and back to Ankorage. 

This September they caught up with Window Bonnets at the LHC Sunday Swap Meet.  After seeing our displays and visiting with us, they decided to purchase our window cornice kits for their living room, dining and family room areas.

In the next few pages you will see the transformation for the family room, the dining area, the living room, the office, the two guest rooms and the master bedroom.

Don & Nancy picked out some great fabrics coordinating the family, dining and living rooms, a great southwest pattern for the office, enhancing designs to complement each of the  guest rooms decor, as well as the master bedroom.

As I measured the windows and we discussed the fabric needs, they decided that the “do-it-yourself” aspect of our kits was not for them. So my quote included complete construction and installation.  All they had to do was select the fabric they wanted for each room.  Well, as often happens, one window led to another, and another, and another, and in the end the entire house was done with new cornices--eight windows in all.
