Window Bonnets currently has a single design called the Avalon.

The greatest feature of this cornice design is it’s flexibility and versatility or decoration.  Our demo units and our customers have used all manner of fabric to decorate their cornices. 

The Design Gallery is a collection of pictures of our demo designs followed by pictures of designs made by our customers.  The fabrics range from plain cotton to drapery to home decor to upholstery fabrics.  Probably the only warning I have would have on any fabric is the upholstery.  It is generally thick so can be tricky to tuck in the grooves especially at the corners and when used all over the cornice can make it heavy as well.

Guess I should also warn on using the ultra thin scarf-like material.  It looks best when gathered tightly so the styrofoam does not show through and it still may need a bit of “tightening” to hold securely in the tuck grooves.  See our FAQ page for my special trick regarding “tightening the tuck”.

The demo designs require the extra effort in decorating, but can be easily done by anyone with no special training. 

The customer cornices show a wide range of style.  Generally all were done to coordinate  the room, tying furniture, flooring, rugs or wall colors to the cornice boards.
