Materials Needed to make your own window treatments using the the no sew cornice kits:  Scissors, the “magic” tuck tool, your material strips and any embellishments you want to add to the design, your window treatments instruction guide and video.

  1. Measure the width of your fabric strip and cut using scissors or rotary cutter. To determine the width, use a flexible measuring tape. Place it in the starting groove and measure around to the ending groove-for thin material add 1.5-2” for thick material add only a 1”.
                                     Measure the fabric strip
  2. Fold the edge of the fabric under 1” so that you have a finished edge where the return meets the wall.        Fold the edge of the fabric
  3. Apply the fabric “flat or smooth” on the outer rail. Place fabric over the upper groove on the front of the topper and prepare to tuck. Using the tuck tool from your kit, tuck the fabric into the groove. Continue tucking until you come to the corner.

  4. To tuck around the corner simply fold the fabric so that it has a small pleat and looks nice as you tuck along the front side.

  5. Continue tucking and complete across the entire grove. Repeat the previous step when you come to the 2nd corner.
